Road Accident in Paddar Kishtwar district: Two Dead, Ten Injured as Tata Sumo Plunges into Gorge
Two individuals lost their lives, and ten others sustained injuries in a road accident that occurred on Friday evening in the Kishtwar district, according to officials.
The incident transpired when a Tata Sumo passenger vehicle they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near Hakko Palali road in Paddar, Kishtwar district, as per an official statement.
The official reported, “The passenger vehicle, with registration number JK17-7378, was en route from Gulabgarh to Hakko Palali Paddar when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The unfortunate event led to the death of two individuals and injuries to 10 passengers, including the driver.”
Subsequently, the bodies were recovered, and all injured individuals were transported to the Public Health Centre (PHC) in Atholi Paddar for necessary medical treatment.
