Ranchi to Host Women’s FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers in India
In a significant development for the world of hockey, the International Hockey Federation (FIH) has chosen Ranchi, India, as the venue for the Women’s FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers scheduled from January 13 to January 19, 2024. This move comes after the Chinese Women’s Hockey Team secured direct qualification to the Paris 2024 Olympics by emerging victorious at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022. With the top three nations in the qualifiers set to book their spots in the next year’s Olympics, the competition in Ranchi is expected to be intense and thrilling.
