Rajasthan Chief Minister’s Son, Vaibhav Gehlot Summoned by Enforcement Directorate in Forex Violation Case
ED Summons Vaibhav Gehlot Ahead of State Assembly Elections
Vaibhav Gehlot, the son of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a foreign exchange violation case, just weeks ahead of the state’s assembly elections. He is required to depose before the agency in either Jaipur or New Delhi.
Linked to Triton Hotels & Resorts Raid
These summons are related to the ED’s recent raids on the Rajasthan-based hospitality group, Triton Hotels & Resorts Pvt. Ltd., as well as Vardha Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., and their directors and promoters, including Shiv Shankar Sharma and Rattan Kant Sharma. In August, the agency conducted searches over three days at various locations, leading to the seizure of unaccounted cash amounting to Rs 1.2 crore.
