As the Rajasthan Assembly elections draw near, enforcement agencies have been on high alert, resulting in an impressive Rs 244 crore in cash seizures over the past 15 days, according to officials. A joint effort by the police, excise, income tax, and other enforcement agencies has set a “new record” in the confiscation of illegal cash, liquor, drugs, gold, silver, and more. In total, the value of seizures in 2023 has surpassed an astonishing Rs 1,000 crore.
A Threefold Increase in Seizures
