The operation yielded a substantial cache of dangerous items, including two improvised explosive devices, two hand grenades, a firearm, two ammunition magazines, 24 rounds of ammunition, a timing mechanism, eight detonators, and four batteries, all of which were confiscated by law enforcement.
The operation was a collaborative endeavor, carried out jointly by the State Special Operation Cell in Amritsar and a central agency, as confirmed by Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav. The Punjab Police chief, in a statement posted on the department’s official platform, heralded this achievement as a major breakthrough in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
