– In a grand ceremony held at the BR Ambedkar Auditorium, Jammu University, the 1st Annual Sarazi Sammelan 2025 celebrated the rich culture and heritage of Sarazi. The highlight of the event was the conferring of the prestigious State Award upon Sulinder Parihar Sarazi for his exceptional contributions to the promotion and preservation of Sarazi language, art, and culture.

The event was jointly organized by Civil Society Saraz, in collaboration with the PG Urdu Department, Jammu University, and the Tejass Ek Pahal Foundation (TEPF), a leading NGO dedicated to social upliftment and cultural preservation.
