President Donald Trump Iran’s Top Military Leadership Eliminated, Nothing Left, Says Mojtaba Khamenei ‘90% Gone’
VoM News Desk, July 14, 2026: As the fight has against started following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and imposition of naval blockade, US President Donald Trump claimed on Monday that Iran’s top military commanders had been killed and its military capabilities had been severely weakened.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump said Iran had lost everything, they are having nothing now, as their navy, air force and air defence systems, are gone, while asserting that the country’s senior leadership had been eliminated.

“They have no navy, they have no air force, it’s all gone. Their anti-aircraft is gone, their leaders have all been killed, their best leaders have been killed,” Trump said.
He also made a claim about Iran’s leadership, saying, “Khamenei is gone, the son is 90% gone.”
However, after the assassination of Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba Khamenei is leading as Iran’s supreme leader. The absense of supreme leader from his father’s funeral raised the questions about his health situation, as the United States considers him nearly dead.
As it seems, the psychological war is going on between the iran and United States, the remarks are adding fuel to the escalation.
