Police constable arrested in Jammu for selling heroin, case registered
The authorities on Wednesday, arrested a police constable, namely, Mukhtiyar Ahmed of Armed Police 12th Battalion in Jammu , as the allegedly selling heroin on hospital premises.
As per reports, the constable had the possession of heroin-like substance and amount figuring Rs, 9,000. A search operation was initiated by the police, while acting on a tip-off regarding the drugs selling by this personnel. Immediately, police nabbed the personal and has been suspended from the service.
A case has been registered against him at Bakshi Nagar Police Station. More details are awaited.
