Scholarship Amounts and Availability

For eligible applicants, the PM Scholarship Scheme offers substantial financial aid. Female students are eligible for a monthly scholarship of Rs 3,000, while male students can receive Rs 2,500 per month. The scholarship is limited to students currently enrolled in the first year of technical or professional courses and studying full-time in an institution recognized by AICTE/UGC.

Eligibility extends to students who are dependents of ESM (Ex-Servicemen) or former Coast Guard personnel, as well as children of deceased individuals. However, students in their second year, except for lateral entry and integrated courses, are ineligible for the scholarship. Additionally, students pursuing education abroad are not eligible.

To apply, students must provide essential documents, including a passport-sized photograph, Aadhar Card, Matriculation Certificate (as proof of their Date of Birth), Mark sheet of their 12th, Diploma, or Graduation, a Bonafide Certificate, Proof of an Aadhar-seeded bank account, ESM/Ex-Coast Guard Personal Certificate duly attested by ZSB (Zila Sainik Board), the front page of a bank passbook, Part II Order (POR), Pension Payment Order (PPO), or ESM Identity Card, and an Affidavit or Self Certificate of ESM (Ex-Servicemen).
