Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro Unveiled with Sleek Design and Advanced Gaming Features
Nubia is set to unveil the Red Magic 9 Pro, a gaming-centric smartphone, on November 23. Ahead of the official launch, the company has released the first official look at the device. The renders highlight a notable flat frame design, eliminating camera bumps, and featuring an under-display front camera for a seamless screen experience.
Design and Aesthetic Upgrades
The Red Magic 9 Pro appears to offer significant design upgrades from its predecessor, the Red Magic 8 Pro. It showcases a rear flat frame with cameras integrated under the glass back. A standout feature is the inbuilt cooling fan beneath the lenses, accompanied by custom RGB lighting, adding a distinctive gaming flair to the device. The phone’s back is also marked with the number “09,” aligning with its model name.
Display and Color Variants
The official images confirm three color options for the Red Magic 9 Pro: Dark Night Knight, Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night, and Deuterium Front Transparent Silver Wing. The device boasts a flat screen with under-display front cameras, offering a notch-less and immersive display. Its slim profile, measuring just 8.9mm in thickness, adds to its sleek and modern design.
Anticipated Specifications
The Red Magic 9 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, as indicated by its recent Geekbench listing. Along with this powerful chipset, the phone is likely to have 12GB of RAM and operate on Android 14, ensuring top-notch gaming performance.
Previous Model as a Benchmark
The upcoming Red Magic 9 Pro will build upon the features of the Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro, which was launched at $650 and featured a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, up to 16GB RAM, and a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
