Mughal Road Closed After Fresh Snowfall: Official Confirmation
The Mughal Road, which links Shopian district in the Kashmir Valley with the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch, had to be shut down on Thursday due to recent snowfall, according to officials.
Reports indicate that there was a new layer of snow at various points along the route, particularly at ‘Pir Ki Gali,’ prompting the authorities to close the road. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) PC Surankote, Hamid Ali Bandey, officially confirmed the closure of the thoroughfare.
