The outage has caused significant disruptions across various sectors.
Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike also reported a major outage on Friday, which affected businesses globally. The company attributed the issue to a problem with a recent update and is currently rolling back that update globally to resolve the situation.

The company is working to identify the full impact and will provide more information shortly.

Microsoft’s Azure cloud software status report indicated that the service went down for some customers in the Central US region around 6 pm ET, affecting service management operations and connectivity or availability of services.
