According to the Meteorological Centre in Srinagar, there are predictions of light rain or snowfall occurring at scattered locations in the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir within the next 24 hours.
The current weather is predominantly cloudy across most areas, and there is a likelihood of light rain or snow in the higher regions of Jammu and Kashmir today.The Meteorological (MeT) office anticipates that the weather will be partly to generally cloudy on Monday. From October 24th to 27th, the weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy with reduced visibility during the morning hours.

Between October 28th and 29th, there is a probability of light rain at various spots in Jammu and Kashmir.
However, no significant rain or snowfall is forecasted until October 27th for both Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.Additionally, the MeT office has issued a weather advisory, urging people to refrain from outdoor activities, including harvesting.The recorded minimum temperatures are as follows:
Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded 6.6 degrees Celsius, Qazigund at 5.4 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam at 1.8 degrees Celsius, Kokernag at 6.0 degrees Celsius, and Gulmarg at 3.2 degrees Celsius, as reported by the MeT office.
