McDonald’s silvered onions triggered e.Coli outbreak: US Health Authorities
Amid the e.Coli outbreak in United States, the health authorities on Wednesday stated that the silvered onions used by McDonald’s triggered this outbreak. This outbreak sickened at around 90 people.
The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, said, “Fresh, silvered onions served on Quarter Pounders and other menu items from McDonald’s are the likely source of this Outbreak.” At around, 90 people got sickened, of which 27 got hospitalised, while an Elderly man died.
After e.Coli test turns negative, McDonald’s on Sunday stated to resume selling it’s Quarter Pounder hamburgers.
