West Bengal CM Doubts Congress’s Electoral Performance, Challenges BJP in Hindi Heartland
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee issued a stern challenge to the Congress, questioning its ability to secure significant seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
She challenged the Congress to take on the BJP in the Hindi heartland states, expressing doubts about the grand old party’s performance.
Banerjee criticized Congress’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in West Bengal, dismissing it as a “mere photo opportunity” for outsiders.
Despite proposing an alliance, she highlighted that the Congress rejected the offer, and now it faces the challenge of contesting all 42 seats in the state.
