In the first phase of the Lok Sabha election, Tamil Nadu witnessed a total voter turnout of 69.46%. Dharmapuri constituency had the highest turnout at 81.48%. Other notable turnouts include Kancheepuram at 71.55%, Arakkonam at 74.08%, and Chennai Central at 53.91%. The data for all 39 constituencies is as follows:

Election Overview and Future Phases

In the 2019 general elections, the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance secured a landslide victory in Tamil Nadu, winning 38 out of 39 seats.
