KPDCL Employee arrested in Shopian for Accepting Rs 5,000 Bribe

A member of the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) was apprehended in the act of accepting a bribe amounting to Rs 5,000 by the Anti-Corruption Branch of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Srinagar.

The individual identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, an employee of KPDCL, was caught in the act by the ACB in Shopian town. A case, FIR No.03 (AM2023), under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, has been formally registered against him.
