Kiren Rijiju Appointed BJP’s Election In-Charge for Mizoram Leadership Roles for Upcoming Assembly Polls

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has been named the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) election in-charge for the upcoming Mizoram assembly polls on November 7. The BJP has also designated Anil Antony and Yanthungo Patton as the party’s co-in-charges for the Mizoram elections. In the last assembly polls in 2018, the Mizo National Front (MNF) secured 26 seats, Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) won eight seats, the Congress gained five seats, and the BJP secured one seat.

Leadership Appointments

Jatinder Pal Malhotra was appointed as the BJP’s unit president in Chattisgarh. All appointments were approved by BJP Chief J.P. Nadda.
