
Kathua Police arrests 02 Accused Persons

KATHUA; 22 FEB:- J&K Police Kathua today arrested two accused persons namely Abhishek Sharma S/o Anil Sharma R/o Ward No. 06 Kathua and Ashwani Singh S/o Makhan Singh R/o Firozpur Kalan Tehsil & District Kathua who have been arrested in connection with Case FIR No. 03/2025 U/S 126(2)/115(2)/307/308(3) BNS registered at PS Lakhanpur.

Moreover, in a separate incident, four more individuals – namely Dalbir Singh S/O Balwinder Singh, Pradeep Kumar S/o Inderjeet both R/o Gurdaspur Punjab, Manpreet Singh S/o Tara Singh R/o Gurdaspur Punjab, and Ankush Sharma S/o Bharat Bhushan R/o Hatli Kathua – were booked under sections 39/128 BNSS for creating a nuisance in the Keerian Gandyal, Ramnagar Punjab Border Area. These individuals were reportedly wandering in the area at night, stopping vehicles, and harassing passengers by demanding money. They were produced before the EMIC Kathua.
J&K Police Kathua have taken swift action in both cases, demonstrating their commitment to maintaining law and order in the region.
