Jharkhand CID Action! Multiple Spots Raided in Jharkhand Public Service Commission Exam Scam
Hey everyone, get ready for the latest updates in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) exam scam! The Jharkhand Crime Investigation Department (CID) has been on the move, raiding several locations throughout the state.
Well, it’s all part of the ongoing investigation into allegations of foul play in the competitive exams administered by the JPSC. The CID revealed that the raids are aimed at nabbing seven individuals who are named in Case No. 16/2026, and for whom warrants have been issued. These seven names include Aditya Pandey, Pawan Kumar Singh, Ravishankar Kumar, Santosh Kumar Singh, Sanand Prakash, Lalu Kumar Yadav, and Saurabh Kumar Pandey.
The search parties have been busy at multiple spots across different districts, and the hunt for the accused is still on. Investigators are busy sifting through evidence, including OMR carbon copies recovered during the investigation, to connect the dots.
The CID assured that the investigation is moving forward, and more steps will be taken once they have collected all the necessary evidence. They also confirmed that legal proceedings are being initiated against any individuals found to be implicated in the irregularities.

This development comes at a time when protests against alleged examination irregularities in Jharkhand have been intensifying. Just yesterday, August 13th, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) held protests in several cities, including the national capital, New Delhi, calling for a CBI inquiry into alleged scams by both the JPSC and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).
The ABVP is not just calling for an inquiry, but also for the cancellation of the JSSC CGL exam, and re-tests for those where irregularities are suspected. In the meantime, the JPSC and JSSC aspirants’ protest at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium in Ranchi continues, with students demanding transparency and accountability in the recruitment process.
