    Japan, Philippines, U.S. vow to deepen cooperation, Manila says

    MANILA, Jan 13 (Reuters) – The Philippines, United States and Japan vowed to enhance and deepen trilateral ties between their countries, Manila said on Monday following a meeting between their leaders.

    Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. met virtually with U.S. President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on Monday morning from Manila.

    “I am confident that our three countries will continue to work together closely to sustain the gains that we have made in enhancing and deepening our ties,” Marcos said during the meeting.
