Jammu Kashmir: Salary of 11 officials stopped by CAT
The salary of 11 top officials in Jammu have been stopped by the central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), for non-compliance of court’s order. The CAT has stopped the salary of Chief Conservator of Forests and Research, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu alongwith 7 officers for non-compliance with court’s order.
The CAT stopped the salary of Director Rular Development Depart & BDO Billawar for failing to submit the reply, even after providing the 14 opportunities. Similarly, the CAT also stopped the salary of Division Forest Officer, Urban Forestry Division for failure to file the reply, despite providing nine opportunities. Whereas, the instructions have been given to DDOs to ensure the stoppage of salary of these officers. The directions have been given to administrative heads to initiate the action against the erring officers and has been ordered to place the report before the honourable court
