Jammu-Based Employees Granted Three-Day Special Leave by Government
The government of Jammu and Kashmir has granted a three-day special casual leave to employees from Jammu working in Kashmir during the Lok Sabha Elections. An official order stated, “Employees from Jammu division serving in Kashmir Valley will be given three days of Special Casual Leave during the Lok Sabha Elections.”
The special leaves will be applicable as follows:
- From April 18 to April 20, 2024, in the Udhampur constituency, coinciding with polling on April 19.
- From April 25 to April 27, 2024, in Jammu, corresponding with polling on April 26.
- From May 6 to May 8, 2024, in the Anantnag-Rajouri constituency, aligned with polling on May 7.
