J-K: Encounter Starts in Chaas area of kishtwar
Intermittent Exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces have been reported in Chaas area of Jammu Kashmir’s kishtwar on Sunday, where the area has been cordoned off and searches are being conducted in the area, while acting on a specific intelligence input. The Indian army and police (para-special force) are conducting the searches in the area.
As per media reports, the encounter breaks out in Chaas, kishtwar, and the area is being searched by the security forces. More details are awaited.
Kishtwar has witnesses number of militant attacks in recent days. Two VDG’s personals were killed in kuntwara, kishtwar whose responsibility was claimed by Kashmir Tiger, a terrorist group.
