IndiGo Flight Bound for Guwahati Makes Emergency Landing in Dhaka Due to Dense Fog
An IndiGo flight traveling from Mumbai to Guwahati had to make an emergency landing in Dhaka, Bangladesh, due to dense fog. As a severe cold wave impacts north, central, and East India, several places are experiencing disruptions in flight operations.
The diverted flight, 6E 5319, landed in Dhaka at 4 am after being unable to land at the Guwahati airport due to low visibility. Passengers, including Congress leader Suraj Singh Thakur, found themselves in Dhaka without their passports.
They have been inside the aircraft for nine hours, waiting for updates on the situation.
