Global Leaders Extend Republic Day Wishes to India

World leaders, including US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Australian PM Anthony Albanese, Maldivian President Mohammed Muizzu, and Former Maldivian President Ibrahim Solih, extended Republic Day wishes to India. Iran also congratulated India on Republic Day, expressing the mutual agenda to strengthen political and economic ties between the two nations.


India’s Republic Day Celebrations Showcase Military Prowess and Cultural Heritage

India celebrated its Republic Day with a vibrant showcase of military prowess and rich cultural heritage at the ‘Kartavya Path’ in the national capital. The parade highlighted ‘Viksit Bharat,’ military strength, and Nari Shakti (women power). Notably, an all-women Tri-Service contingent marched for the first time, and women pilots participated in the Indian Air Force’s fly-past.


Republic Day Parade Features Folk Dances and Special Guests

The Republic Day parade featured 30 folk dance styles from different states, contemporary classical dance, and Bollywood styles. The event included tribal dancers, folk dancers, and classical dancers, representing the rich cultural diversity of India. Approximately 13,000 special guests participated, promoting Jan Bhagidari in the national festival.
