
Indian Army 26 RR COY Patnazi organised a Medical Aid Camp in the Bunjwah regio
BUNJWAH 06 Sep: _______ In a significant welfare initiative aimed at enhancing community well-being, the Indian Army organised a comprehensive medical camp in the villages of Patnazi, at Government Middle School Naga, located within the Bunjwah region. This event was organised in response to the recent relentless rainfall and flash floods that severely impacted local infrastructure and healthcare access.
Conducted under the auspices of the 26 RR COY Patnazi, the medical camp offered a wide array of services, including free medical consultations, diagnostic tests, and the distribution of essential medicines to residents. The primary objective of this initiative was to improve healthcare accessibility for individuals residing in these remote areas, who have long struggled with inadequate healthcare resources compounded by adverse weather conditions.
During the camp, more than 120 villagers benefited from essential healthcare services. A dedicated team comprising military doctors, paramedics was on-site to address various medical needs. Services included routine health check-ups, immunisations for children, treatment for chronic ailments such as hypertension and diabetes, and emergency medical care for acute conditions.
In addition to providing immediate healthcare services, the camp placed a strong emphasis on health education. Efforts were made to raise awareness about preventive healthcare practices, the importance of maintaining hygiene, and the significance of regular medical check-ups, thereby empowering the community with knowledge to safeguard their health.
Furthermore, essential medications for common and chronic conditions were sourced and distributed, ensuring that villagers had access to ongoing treatment and support. The residents, alongside prominent community leaders, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for recognising and addressing a critical healthcare need within the region.
This medical outreach is a vital part of the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to fostering stronger ties with local communities while supporting their overall well-being. Such initiatives not only provide immediate relief but also help in building trust and cooperation between the Army and the communities it serves.
