    During a meeting in Delhi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar engaged in discussions with UK National Security Adviser Tim Barrow, covering various regional and global matters of significance. The bilateral ties between the two nations were also reviewed during the session.

    In another development, a 21-member delegation from the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) initiated their visit to India by honoring fallen soldiers at a war memorial in New Delhi. The RCDS, a prestigious British military staff college, aims to cultivate strategic thinkers capable of operating at a cross-government and international level.

    The visit of the RCDS delegation underscores the enduring relationship between India and the UK, rooted in shared history and culture. The commitment to the India-UK ‘Comprehensive Strategic Partnership’ and the India-UK Roadmap 2030 signals a forward-looking approach to cooperation between the two nations.
