The sudden collapse of a modest ‘kacha’ house claimed the life of a 55-year-old man, leaving his wife and two close relatives injured. Local authorities reported this heartbreaking event on a Thursday.

The ill-fated house belonged to Riyaz Hussain Shah, aged 55, the son of Saber Hussain Shah. His wife, Shamim Akhtar, aged 52, and their neighboring relatives, Irfan Haider, 30, and Wazaif Haider, sons of Mehboob Hussain Sayed, also found themselves caught in the unfortunate incident.

This catastrophe occurred around 12:30 a.m., sending shockwaves through the peaceful village.Following the incident, the injured parties were promptly transported to the Surankote Sub-District Hospital (SDH) for medical attention. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Riyaz Hussain Shah tragically succumbed to his injuries.
