Horror in Bihar: Man Arrested for Torturing Wife With Chilli Powder, Hot Iron Over Affair Suspicion
A man has been arrested in Bihar for brutally torturing his wife and locking her in a room for two days on suspicion of an extramarital affair. The woman has accused her husband of inserting chilli powder into her private parts, and using a hot iron to burn her thighs.
According to the victim’s statement, the cruelty didn’t stop there. She alleged that her husband, Shatrughan Rai (40), even tried to electrocute her and locked her in a room without food or water for two days.
The incident happened on June 13 in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district. The woman said despite her agonising screams, the neighbours did not come to her aid out of fear. It was only on June 15 that she was rescued after her brother came to her house.
