Gulf Cooperation Council Condemns Israeli Attacks on Gaza and Calls for Ceasefire
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has issued a statement condemning the “Israeli aggression” on Gaza and demanding an immediate ceasefire in the coastal enclave.
According to Saudi news outlet al-Ekhbariya TV, the GCC expressed its rejection of any justifications or pretexts for the continuation of the Israeli aggression against Gaza.
The statement further called on the international community to take necessary measures to respond to the practices of the Israeli government and its policy of collective punishment against civilians.
The condemnation from the GCC underscores regional concerns and the call for an end to the ongoing hostilities in Gaza.
