Government Orders Transfer and Posting of 28 Prosecution Department Officers (Representative Image)

The government has issued an order for the transfer and posting of 28 officers in the Prosecution Department. Several officers have been reassigned to various positions, and their postings will be effective immediately.

Key Transfers and Appointments

• Riyaz Ahmad Darzi, formerly Deputy Director Prosecution in Anantnag-Kulgam-Shopian, will now serve as Joint Director at Police Headquarters, J&K.
• Pawan Kumar Khajuria, previously Deputy Director Prosecution in Kathua-Samba, has been posted as Joint Director at the Anti Corruption Bureau.
• Sunita Kargotra, Joint Director Prosecution, will temporarily take charge as Deputy Director Prosecution in Samba-Kathua.
• Qazi Abdul Qayoom, formerly Deputy Director Prosecution at ZPHQ, Kashmir, will await further posting in the Home Department.
• Bhupinder Singh, Deputy Director Prosecution in Jammu, will hold the additional charge of Deputy Director Prosecution in Udhampur-Reasi.
• Mohammad Shafi Rather, formerly Deputy Director Prosecution at APHQ, J&K, will now serve as Deputy Director Prosecution in Anantnag-Kulgam-Shopian.
• Peer Afaq Ahmad, Deputy Director Prosecution in Principal Sessions Court, Anantnag, will await further posting in the Home Department.
• Kulbushan Sharma, Deputy Director Prosecution in Principal Sessions Court, Jammu, has been posted as Deputy Director Prosecution in Rajouri-Poonch.
• Mohammad Ashraf Bakshi, Deputy Director Prosecution in Baramulla, will hold the additional charge of Deputy Director Prosecution in Kupwara.
• Javid Ahmed Khawaja, PP in Principal District and Sessions Court, Samba, will await further orders of posting in the Home Department.

Deputation Continues for Seven Officers

Seven officers will continue to serve on deputation in their current offices. These officers include Hilal Ahmad Bhat, Anuj Gupta, Fayaz Ahmad Shalbaf, Pankaj Sethi, Farooq Ahmad Shagoo, Anshuman Dubey, and Prithipal Singh, who are posted in various departments and units.
