Government Directs Officials to Grant Leave to JKAS Mains Exam Aspirants
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has instructed all Deputy Commissioners, Senior Superintendents of Police, and respective Heads of Departments to grant leave to candidates intending to appear in the JKAS Mains Exams 2023.
Representation Received: Candidates Facing Difficulties
A communique by Deputy Secretary to the Government Akshay Rajan highlighted that representations were received from various in-service candidates. These candidates faced challenges in obtaining leave for the Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination 2023 due to their engagement in various assignments, including election-related duties.
Government’s Decision: Providing Relief to Candidates
After thorough examination, the government decided to advise all authorities to allow in-service candidates wishing to appear in the examination to be granted leave, subject to leave sanction.
The communique directed Deputy Commissioners, Senior Superintendents of Police, and Heads of Departments to permit in-service candidates under their administrative control to participate in the Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination-2023, scheduled from 26.03.2024 to 03.04.2034.
