Bhaderwah, 13 August : A full dress rehearsal for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations was held at the New Bus Stand in Bhaderwah. The event was led by Naib Tehsildar Bhaderwah, Parampreet Singh, who ceremoniously hoisted the tricolour and took the salute during the march past.
The parade featured contingents from the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police, NCC Senior Division from Government Degree College (GDC), and NCC Junior Division Boys and Girls from Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah.
Additionally, students from various government and private schools participated in the event, adding to the patriotic fervor.
The rehearsal not only focused on the ceremonial aspects but also provided a glimpse into the cultural programmes scheduled for the main Independence Day celebration.
