The J&K Cable Car Corporation has declared its intention to provide complimentary tickets to devotees making a pilgrimage to the Peerkho, Mahamaya, and Bahu temples in Jammu tomorrow, coinciding with the consecration ceremony of Sri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department shared the announcement on X, stating, “To promote Religious and Spiritual Tourism in #Jammu and commemorate the consecration of Sri Ram Mandir in #Ayodhya, J&K Cable Car Corporation is extending free tickets to pilgrims planning to visit the revered Peerkho, Mahamaya, and Bahu temples on Monday, 22/01/24.”

Scheduled for January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the ceremonial installation of the idol of Shri Ram Lalla within the sanctum sanctorum of the grand temple. A diverse array of leaders and dignitaries from various sectors have received invitations to attend the grand temple opening in Ayodhya.

In line with these significant events, the J&K administration has declared a half-day public holiday in government offices for tomorrow.
