Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Kotwali Police Station Area
In a tragic incident, a roadways bus from Sultanpur depot collided with an oncoming motorcycle on an overbridge near the market in the Kotwali police station area, resulting in the deaths of two men. The accident occurred on Sunday evening, and the victims were identified as Sandeep Sharma (32) and Santosh Sharma (26).
Immediate Response and Investigation
The impact of the collision was fatal, causing the motorcyclists to lose their lives on the spot. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination. It was reported that the bus driver fled the scene and abandoned the bus after the accident.
The deceased individuals were returning home from a family function at the time of the accident.
