Fatal Accident in Hawal-Chattroo Area of Kishtwar; One killed

Kishtwar, Aug 10, 2024: A tragic accident in the Hawal-Chattroo area of Kishtwar has resulted in the death of one individual.

Initial reports indicate that a Maruti vehicle, bearing registration number JK02AU 8129 was en route to Chattroo when the accident occurred. The deceased has been identified as Farooq Ahmed Hajjam, son of Abdul Gani Hajjam, resident of Dambar Chattroo.

The body has been sent to the Community Health Centre in Chattroo for medico-legal formalities. Police have taken notice of the incident, registered a case, and initiated an investigation.
