Faisal Warns: Saudi-Israel Deal Could Ignite Arab Rage
In an exclusive interview with VOM, International Mediator and World Peace Mission head, Faisal Muhammad, backed Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s concerns about forming ties with Israel. After the tragic events in Gaza, where thousands of Palestinian Muslims were killed, he argued that Israel’s image as a peace-loving state is dubious. Recognizing Israel now, he cautioned, could trigger outrage across the Arab and Muslim world.
Faisal highlighted that real peace in the Middle East depends on establishing two independent states, with strong guarantees that Israel won’t obstruct the creation of a sovereign Palestinian state. Given the devastation in Gaza from American weapons, he urged skepticism about Israel’s promises.
Faisal also sounded the alarm over a secretive deal between Saudi Arabia and the U.S., involving security guarantees and economic investments. He warned that this could make Saudi Arabia overly dependent on the U.S., potentially alienating key allies like China and Russia, and increasing American dominance in the Middle East.
