Eyewitnesses Describe Israel’s Attack on Aid Truck in Deir el-Balah

Eyewitnesses have shared harrowing accounts of Israel’s attack on an aid truck in Deir el-Balah.

One witness recounted being in the area when it was “showered with missiles,” describing the chaos with shrapnel flying around and body parts in the air.

The targeted truck was reportedly carrying relief aid with civilian volunteers on board, en route to provide food items to displaced people in Gaza.

The witness emphasized that Deir el-Balah was considered a safe zone, and condemned what they referred to as a “genocide and starvation war” waged by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Another eyewitness expressed despair, stating that there is no safe area in Gaza, with hospitals, schools, tents, and even journalists being targeted.

The witness described the targeting of relief aid as a sin. A third person highlighted the indiscriminate targeting of civilians by Israelis, emphasizing the constant fear and vulnerability of the population in the face of such attacks.
