ED Seizes ₹12 Lakh Cash and Incriminating Documents in Paper Leak Case
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized ₹12 lakh in cash and uncovered “incriminating” documents during raids related to an alleged recruitment exam paper leak case in Rajasthan. The searches were conducted on seven residential premises connected to individuals including Congress leader Dinesh Khodania, Rashtriya Loktantrik Party leader Spurdha Chaudhary, Ashok Kumar Jain, and Suresh Dhaka. The case pertains to the alleged leak of the senior teacher second-grade competitive examination 2022 paper.
Political Motivation Alleged by Congress Leader
Congress leader Dinesh Khodania, one of the individuals whose premises were searched, has alleged that the ED’s actions are politically motivated. He further stated his intention to file a defamation case against Rajya Sabha MP Kirodi Lal Meena, who he claims has made false allegations against him. Khodania denied having any links with the arrested Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) member Babulal Katara, who was previously arrested in connection with this case.
Leaked Question Paper and Arrests
The case involves the alleged leak of the General Knowledge question paper for the senior teacher grade II competitive examination in 2022, which was scheduled to be conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). The individuals involved reportedly leaked the paper and provided it to candidates for ₹8-10 lakh per candidate. The ED had previously arrested former RPSC member Babulal Katara and Anil Kumar Meena in connection with this case.
