As this destination lacks a motorable road, proper camping facilities, hotels, huts, and toilets, which is creating a hurdle for the growth of the spot, it needs immediate attention. On this, Deputy Commissioner Doda, who is being hailed as the best officer in the district, acknowledged the shortcomings and stated that the government is trying to make efforts to raise the tourism potential. Through these festivals, importance would surely be overcome.
Once a tourist destination discussed in textbooks, it now seems to be craving to receive the tourism potential. This destination was once discussed with major sports like Pehalgam, Gulmarg, etc., but the outbreak of militancy in the region was the big hurdle in tourism development, due to which it was sidelined. But time will tell whether, in the nearby future, this tourist destination develops into a major tourism hub or remains as an unattended destination.
