In view of upcoming Elections to GPE-2024,A General briefing regarding the election duties and responsibilities of police to newly inducted SAP coys and officers/officials of DPL Doda was given at DPL Doda.

After the proper briefing with regard to familiarisation of area, area domination, sensitivities and confidence building measure in the area of responsibility and for creating a peaceful, smooth and tranquil atmosphere for free, fair and peaceful conduct of GPE 2024 in Doda district.

General electoral malpractices were make understand and the preventive actions of police. The nafri was briefed and instructed that while on duty at any time any place, the police official must be very polite, civilized but firm in his duties while dealing the common man or citizen. After briefing a flag March was undertaken from DPL Doda which after moving in Doda town concluded back in DPL Doda.

A similar exercise of Flag March was also carried out Doda Police alongwith CAPF/ SAP in Bhaderwah town which concluded after moving in whole town. The aim of organizing the flag March is to instill a sense of security and harmony in society and to ensure free, fair and fear free Elections in the District.
