Doda: Lack of Teaching Staff at GUPS Bhonta (Marmat) irks Residents; demand immediate teaching staff

In Prabble area of Doda’s Marmat, the parents took to social media, and registered a strong reaction. In a media interaction, the residents of Bhonta area of Prabble panchayat, enquired about the lack of teaching staff facility in the GUPS/Middle School.
While interacting with VoM News, ward member, Mohd Iqbal stated that majority of the school students are from the schedule caste category and 7+ vacancy are unfilled. He further added that there are only two teachers in the school handling all the work. He said, the administration should take a strong note of this behaviour and demanded an arrangement of teaching staff in the said school.
Another ward member, Akhtar Hussain said this institute was established in year 2000 and Upgraded in year 2011, but till now this system keeps going and no one from administrative point of view gives ear to the concern. He taunted at the administration, if administration, education department is not willing to offer staff, then school should be locked. As children play entire day in the school.
It was further said, even during the militancy area, this institution was working and administration, education department should arrange the teaching staff as soon as possible so that future of students not be put on stake.
The residents/ parents of the students have hinted to hold a protest at district headquarter Doda against the step motherly attitude of administration. The people have expressed hope on the newly joined Deputy Commissioner Doda and requested to take strong note if the issue .
