Doda: 30 Students Embark on Skill Development Program at IIT Jammu under AVSAR Scheme
DODA, JANUARY 20: A momentous occasion unfolded today as a cohort of 30 eligible students embarked on a two-month skill development program at the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu.
Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh, this initiative came to fruition through the dedicated efforts of District Panchayat Officer (DPO) Suraj Singh and Employment Officer Imtiyaz Ali. Leading the way, the District Panchayat Officer inaugurated the transformative journey, initiating a comprehensive two-month skill development course. The selected students, carefully chosen under the AVSAR scheme, are actively participating in a specially curated program designed to enhance their skills. A key component of this course involved the students visiting IIT Jammu for a focused session on practical exposure and knowledge acquisition in their respective skill domains.
