
DIET Kishtwar organised series of events under ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ Campaign & on the eve of Gandhi Janyanti
Under the campaign “Meri Maati Mera Desh” which envisions a unified celebration of India’s soil and valour, commemorating the nation’s journey of freedom and progress DIET Kishtwar conducted series of events like drawing competition, Essay writing, Rangoli, Rashtragan singing and multiple other events at DIET Complex Kishtwar wherein more than 20 High Schools and Middle Schools participated with zeal and zest.
The workshop was inaugurated by In-Charge principal DIET Kishtwar and attended by near about 100 students from different schools including HS Pochall, High School Cherhar, High School Banderna and many Govt., Middle schools of district Kishtwar. Farooq Ahmed Giri Sr. Lecturer DIET Kishtwar was the key resource person in the inaugural function who enlightened the gathering on Mahatma Gandhi’s life, his social works and efforts to inculcate the ‘Dignity of Labour’ in the Indian society.

Later several students took part in different activities including making and designing beautiful Rangolis, caricature of Mahatma Gandhi (Bapu) poster making and drawing competitions. All the participating students were later felicitated and encouraged to participate more and more in future to highlight the achievements and non violent approach of Gandhi Ji across the society.
