
DC Kishtwar Visits Sinthan, Directs Road Clearance Amid Snowfall
Kishtwar, May 31: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Sh. Rajesh Kumar Shavan (JKAS), visited Sinthan to assess the situation amid incessant snowfall.
He met with stranded passengers, including students en-route to Srinagar for examinations, and directed NHIDCL authorities to prioritize road clearance to ensure their safe passage and timely arrival.
The DC appealed to the public to plan their travel according to traffic advisories, noting that district authorities are working to restore closed road patches.
