Deputy Commissioner Doda Unveils Aakash Byju’s Prime Classes in Doda
On September 25, Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, inaugurated Aakash Byju’s Prime Classes at Shaheen Public Higher Secondary School in Doda. The event, while simple, was marked by its significance in providing quality education to the students of Doda.
Dignitaries in Attendance
The inaugural event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including Lt. Col. Lakshman Singh, President MC Doda Ved Prakash, DIO DIPR Doda Mohd Ashraf Wani, and Executive Officer MC Doda Yousuf-ul-Umar. Also present were Director Aakash Byju’s Prime Classes, Parveen Kumar, and MD of Shaheen Public Higher Secondary School Doda, Hafizullah Khurwani.
Enhancing Educational Opportunities
During the inauguration, Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, interacted with students and parents, emphasizing the importance of utilizing opportunities like E-Kaksha (Online Classes) available on the Adhbut Doda platform. He highlighted various initiatives by the UT administration aimed at improving education standards and providing the best educational services, especially to remote areas, ensuring a level playing field for all and inclusive development.

Transforming Classroom Dynamics
In his address, Deputy Commissioner Mahajan emphasized the need to move beyond traditional monologue-style teaching in classrooms. He encouraged two-way communication and urged students to embrace both smart and hard work, emphasizing the goal of education for personal growth as responsible citizens and good human beings.
Combating Drug Abuse
Deputy Commissioner Mahajan also shed light on the grave issue of drug abuse and called for collective efforts to make Doda a drug-free district. He stressed the importance of cooperation between the community and the administration in achieving this goal.
Towards a Swachh Doda
Lastly, Deputy Commissioner Mahajan advocated for people-administration cooperation to transform Doda into a clean and hygienic district, contributing to the Swachh Bharat mission’s objectives.
