Crackdown On Illegal Mining, 10 Vehicles Seized By JK Police In Rural Zone Of Jammu

JAMMU June 28 ,2024 : In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Jammu Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources.

In a surprise operation which was carried out in last few days at different locations in Rural zone of District Jammu.PP Sidhra detained three vehicles, one tipper bearing registration no JK02DJ- 3198,One tipper bearing registration No.JK02DD 1377 and one dumper bearing registration No.JK08M 7379 all found loaded with crusher bajri without Form A.

PP Sandwan detained one Dumper bearing No.PB29X 9360 found loaded with Bajri without Form-A.PP Chowki Choura detained one Dumper bearing Reg.No.JK02CH-0702 found loaded with sand, without Form A.

PS Gharota detained four vehicles, one Mini Tipper bearing registration number JK02DC/9665 and one Dumper bearing Reg.No.JK02CL-0643.
One Dumper bearing registration No.PB 07 BG 2160 and another Tipper bearing Registration No.Jk02 CU 7891 all involved in illegal mining.

PP Manwal detained one dumper bearing registration No. JK14H-3701 loaded with sand involved in illegal mining.After detaining of these vehicles District Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal actions.

While giving the details SP RuralJammu,conveyed that Jammu Police is committed for protecting the public property and to eradicate the menace illegal mining in the area.
