Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed confidence in Congress’s readiness for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, asserting that the party is prepared to win all six Assembly seats in the upcoming by-elections. The CM accused the BJP of orchestrating defections and horse-trading in the state.

Amidst the political upheaval caused by the resignation of six Congress MLAs who joined the BJP, CM Sukhu emphasized the resilience of the Congress party in the face of challenges. He vowed that the people of the state would reject such political maneuvers and uphold justice in the upcoming elections.

Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh Congress president Pratibha Singh announced that the party would finalize its candidates after consultations with the high command, with meetings scheduled in Delhi on April 5 and 6. The Congress is gearing up for both Lok Sabha elections and the crucial Assembly by-polls, slated for June 1.
