Congress Unveils Logo and Slogan for ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ Led by Rahul Gandhi
In a significant move, the Congress party revealed the logo and slogan for its upcoming ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’, to be spearheaded by party leader Rahul Gandhi. The unveiling ceremony, held at the All India Congress Committee headquarters in Delhi, witnessed the presence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, along with key leaders Jairam Ramesh and KC Venugopal.
The slogan chosen for the Yatra is “Nyay ka haq milne tak” (‘Until justice is achieved’). Addressing the event, Mr Kharge emphasized that under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ will commence on January 14. He highlighted the Yatra’s purpose as a concerted effort to ensure economic, social, and political justice for the people of the country.
Mr Kharge took a critical stance against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting his absence from Manipur amidst ethnic violence. He expressed discontent over the government’s response to Parliament, indicating the lack of opportunity for constructive dialogue, leading to the suspension of 146 MPs, an unprecedented event in the country’s history.
The ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ led by Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to kick off from Imphal on January 14, covering a substantial distance of 6,713 kilometers, spanning 100 Lok Sabha constituencies, 337 assembly segments, and encompassing 110 districts. The march will conclude in Mumbai around March 20 or 21, encapsulating an extensive journey aimed at connecting with citizens across various regions of the country.
